According to FOX Entertainment president Kevin Reilly said at his network's presentation Monday that Ride-Along will premiere Monday, Feb. 7, The network will use the NFL playoffs and the Super Bowl to give the series a big promotional push.

Shawn Ryan, creator of Ride-Along, talks about casting Jennifer: He said he chose Beals, a Chicago native, for the top-cop role because he wanted an actress who is believable. “She has to be young enough to be a shocking choice, but old enough to be believable.” He also said he was impressed with Beals’ acting on “Lie to Me.” “And, she was better than everybody else.” Read the full interview here
